Description
Paeonia suffruticosa belongs to Section Moutan, comprising most of the tree peony cultivars distributed throughout temperate regions in the world. In addition to the ornamental use, the dried root bark of P. suffruticosa has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years for cardiovascular, extravasated blood, stagnated blood, and female genital diseases.
