Description
Cinnamomum kanehirae, commonly known as the stout camphor tree (SCT), a name referring to its bulky, tall and strong trunk, is endemic to Taiwan and under threat of extinction. It has a restricted distribution in broadleaved forests in an elevational band between 450 and 1,200 m.
