Description

Arisaema heterophyllum Blume (Ah Bl) is a perennial medicinal plant of the Araceae family. The dried tuber of A. heterophyllum, called Arisaema, is a traditional Chinese medicine with a long history usage. Approximately 150 species of Arisaema are distributed around the world, and most of these species are found in Yunnan Province, China. A. heterophyllum has been reported to possess different pharmacological activities, mainly including anti-tumor, anti-bacterial, anticonvulsant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
