Description

Paeonia ostii is a hardy shrub in the peony family, Paeoniaceae. It can be found in the Gansu, Anhui, Shaanxi and Henan provinces of China. P. ostii is a potentially important oilseed crop because its seed yield is high and the seeds are rich in α-linolenic acid (ALA).
